I have a chicken recipe book, all chicken recipes, and most of them call for chicken bullion. What is it and how can I make it?

What if it says 3 cups of bullion? How do I put the cubes in water? I mean what proportion.

Bouillon comes in cubes or instant. 1 cube makes 1 cup of bouillon. I keep chicken and beef bouillon on hand. You can buy it in any grocery store in the soup/sauces section. Hope this helps.

Chicken bouillion is concentrated chicken stock in a cube. It can add flavor to your dishes without trying to wait for a long time to make chicken stock from either chicken and bones. However, this has a lot of seasonings and other food preservatives that is really salty and add flavor to your foods. YOu have to use it with wet ingredients or if there is any sauces on your dishes.

chicken bouillon is a concentrated form of chicken stock. it comes in small cubes, or paste, or granulated, and can be found in the soup section of your grocery store. there is also beef and vegetable bouillon. it can be handy to have on hand to add to dishes, but it has a lot of salt, so adjust any other salt additions. I prefer using canned or carton chicken stock--and u can make your own by boiling down a chicken carcass--but bouillon cubes come in handy sometimes.
