I think it was a little pimple that popped. Now, he has a smooth mark. The doc. just checked him and everything was fine.

No, I don't worry about the pinkish mark because it is a birth mark. My son is seven years old and he has one on the back of his head and his grandma has one so, some one in your family had a mark like that. But if you what to get it checked out just to easy your mind then I would do it. I felt the same way when I seen the mark on my son's head and the doc said'oh that, that is a birth mark on your son some one in your family must have it" and I told him no had any until I said something to my mother-in-law and she show me that she had one on the back on her head. I hope this helps you out.

Does it hurt him? It may just be something like a birthmark. But
if it worries you, maybe the two of you go see a doctor.

If it hasn't grown any or changed, don't worry about it......Probably a scar.....If it was skin cancer it would be brown or heart-shaped.......
