Let me tell you something. If any one of my brothers or sisters were being harmed in any way, I would not hesitate to try to save his/her life. I wouldn't qualify with a religious affiliation first - that's just silly. Incidentally, I am not a Christian, but neither am I an atheist. To each his own, and stop fighting bloody wars over it.

No. People are too easily polarized; it doesnt take much to make a divided society, we would have those who want to 'save' the aliens ' so we could "learn" from them, then there'd be the ones who were so fearfl of them they'd try to kill them and we'd have the same thing with them as we have with the middle east. Its gone too far.... we are bound for destruction if God told the truth and I am convinced He has... There are NO athiests in hell. Believe me, There IS a God and He will not put up with much more from His creations whether they admit He is real or not. The rules of the game were given on Mt.Sinai and they have not been modified. Man has modified them but that's like the pottery telling the potter what they want to be made into...

That is backwards of the established way things were meant to work. No one on this earth is smarter than God or doesnt desperately need Him.

We'd unite against the aliens for sure. I unite with Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc. against terrorists and communists. But that doesn't mean the differences would vanish. I kinda hope the differences never vanish, or it would be boring.

I don't know about the alien thing, but I wish it wouldn't take a crisis to unite nations or the world at all, I wish we could all be one, no longer determined by where we are from and what color we are.

I think that when the world as a whole realizes that other worlds and societies do exist, we will become globally united.

Hopefully, though, it won't take attacking aliens for that to happen.

Best wishes.

It'll still exist.
One side will always blame the other, even when it comes to an alien invasion.

I would say we would. Like Independence Day the movie. Or again that could be a Stephen King flick too.

oh yeah, 9/11 really united us. Katrina really united us. if aliens came to earth, it would deepen the divide, not close it.
