My cats act crazy and love it.

I can't tell you why, but you're not alone. My husband used to put absorbine jr. on his feet and one of my cats just weirded out. He would smell it and try to lick his feet and then just act like he was high as can be. I've had many cats, but only this one acted like this. I thought I just had a weird cat, glad to know that other cats are like this too.

oh...while you are at it, if you really want to have some fun, rub their butts with bengay...they will just love you for it...truly a cat's delight. Now, if you want the ultimate, do your own butt at the same time...I promise you will be able to keep up with those fun cats. My, how little it takes to amuse us.

It's the menthol. My cat goes crazy when I use Gold Bond medicated lotion. He licks my hands and will not stay away from me until it has worn off. But it's just one of my cats that does this. The other three don't care.

They're addicted to the smell of menthol. Ask your vet if sniffing that stuff will hurt them and what he recommends to ease them down from their Icy Hot high.

My Ben stays away form me when I use that! But feed him some catnip and he mellows right down.

its the menthol,,,same reaction we get when we take a hauls for sniffy nose... mine used to eat my hauls and wouoldbe crazy for hours.....
