In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, (Mormon) Jesus Christ is the central figure. His Atonement makes all else possible. Nothing else is of greater importance. Faith in Him is the foundation of all else.
There are many non-mormon/anti-mormon sources that distort Mormon teachings and therefore some may have inaccurate ideas of what the Mormon church teaches. LDS.ORG would provide an undistorted view.

I don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for, but in the Mormon religion, members usually put more emphesis on the Church than they do on their own families. For example, my uncle left the church so his wife divorced him. My sister hasn't gone to church for about 8 years. My mom talks to all her 5 other kids at least every week and she talks to her 'inactive' daughter maybe once every three or four months.
I'm not saying that the Mormon church actively teaches members to behave this way, but that's pretty much the norm (at least for 5th or 6th generation mormons).
It's difficult to answer your question because traditionally there was perhaps more emphesis on those aspects that are unique to mormonism than there was on the big JC. There has been a push in recent years though to make the focus more on Jebus and less on Joseph Smith.
So to summarize, I'd say the order of importance is like this:
1. "The Church" (whatever that really means)
2. God and Jesus
3. Joseph Smith
4. Other prophets
5. All the "Commandments" (not just the 10)
6. Family
I'm sure there could be other lists that are different and just as correct. This is just what it's like from my perspective.
And if it was Geneology that you were asking about then sorry, but I find it boring and I'm not going to get into it today.

Jesus is the central figure in the Mormon church therefore the name is really The Church of Jesus Christ of Latte-Day Saints. Jesus come before all else. Some think we worship our ancestors because we are heavy into genealogy. Our ancestors are important to us as we believe we will be reunited with them after the resurrection. Therefore we do all we can for them and also for others not in our immediate family because we are all related through Adam and Eve. If you want to know something about a group of people go to them. There are a lot of anti Mormons who will tell you what they want you to know or what they have heard. Be open minded and seek for the truth and it will come to you. The following site can tell you more.

Mormons believe the family to be the most sacred unit of the church. They have publicly announced that in a document called "a proclamation to the world". They also believe families to be sealed to be together FOREVER. Adopted members of family can be sealed as well. They teach to think of a family as a team, hopefully helping and uplifting eachother. But, the gospel the LDS faith teaches could not exist without everything Jesus did for us. Family is seen as very important, but impossible without Jesus. Think of it as which is more important: Money, or a well-paying job?

The Mormons practice a type on ancestor worship with their obsesssions with genealogies, communicating with the dead, revelations, doctrines, and priesthoods from the dead, baptisms for the dead, etc.... even though the Christian Bible warns against it. This would mean they put relatives before Jesus.
1Ti 1:4
Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
Tit 3:9
But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

Talking about blood-related...
One of their myths argues that Native Americans were really blood relatives of Israelites that came from Palestine.
New DNA technology was tried to prrove the connection but instead it prooved there was no relation between Native Americans and anyone from Palestine, Israel or the surrounding.

nicely, before everything, the Catholics and protestants I knew whilst i replaced into becoming up Mormon did no longer think of we've been Christians - even however we have faith in Christ. (i'm no longer Mormon, yet i understand the variety you experience) this is via fact they experience that in the process basic terms religions that have faith interior the trinity are Christians - Mormons have faith in 3 seperate entities - God the father, Christ the son, and the Holy Ghost. no longer a mix of all 3 that artwork together like the trinity. in my opinion the trinity never made lots experience to me. besides, before everything, you're able to be able to desire to speak to her on my own - basically tell her that despite she believes is her good to have faith yet you probably did no longer like the way she singled you out in college, and made a aim out of you for the different young toddlers. you're sorry you misplaced your cool, yet you quite could like it if she could basically keep her critiques everyday and not aim you surprisingly. via how, is she coaching a faith type or a background/english type? If she isn't coaching faith, your mum and dad could desire to have a communication with the college directors too - she is overstepping her bounds. besides, my very final little bit of suggestion is that this: do no longer attempt to persuade her of something. she would be in a place to no longer exchange, she has been this form for years and could proceed to be this form. Your ideals are your ideals, no longer somebody elses, and you do no longer could desire to rigidity what others think of of them. Having faith ability that commonly you wade via trials for believing what you do. this is component to being a member of any faith. basically carry your head severe, and don't provide into the temptation to argue approximately it. If somebody asks you approximately your ideals, basically tell them what you have faith, yet do no longer enable human beings bait you into arguments or fights. all and sundry believes countless issues. that's what makes us all unique. settle for it and circulate on. do no longer enable some overzealous instructor make you dissatisfied. Have the calm and composure to no longer care what she says.
