Everything was sacred then ... land sky trees ... they even took care of the place ... It was the dualists that created a place for us damned ...what a mean landlord ...

Possibly, although I know many people that feel spirituality even as children and with no outside influence.
There probably would be no doors to knock on without religion, for many advances in our civilization were driven by people who were motivated by religion. So the answer to your second question depends upon whether you would prefer a society of ape-like cavemen, free from the burdens of missionaries or our present society.
Best wishes.

If you look at all the major religions, including satanism by the way, there has always been a God, even before man was formed. There was no koran or bible at that time, yet people believed in God. Even Satanists believe in God lol. Isn't it amazing that even though there are so many religions, all of them believe in the exisitance of a God/gods. Some of these religious groups had never even met one another until the last two centuries. I take that to mean that their ancestors had a personal knowledge of God, given to them by God, before all of these religions were even formed by man.
Who invented religions?..I believe at the start of mankind there was one religion: belief in God and doing what he said to do..plain and simple. It is we humans who decided that we were going to find ways to elevate ourselves above each other.
Remember, according to our bibles, we had paradise and we lost it, so even in paradise trouble arose lol. Its just our nature to create trouble where there is none.

Poor love. But man always finds something to worship. If he didn't know who God was yet, then he compensated by worshiping the elements. In this day he compensates by worshiping science and self. There's just something in him that causes him to worship. I personally do not worship the Bible...it just reveals that there is a God...I go after the real thing.

i think most people were reverant and possibly worshipped nature (not worship in the insane over the top way worship is conducted today). i believe that they watched and waited for signs from the natural world and that their prayer were largely regarding survival/avoidance of severe natural threats and hope for the big kill of an antelope so that the whole tribe could eat.

To answer your question, the answer is no. Even the most dim witted of cavemen could feel there was something else that was bigger, more powerful, and more important to the world than he was. Agnostic, maybe. Atheist, not.

Oh I wish we could go back to those days. It would be so peaceful and happy. No wars would happen, everyone would accept people for who they are, now THAT would be heaven.
