Have you had him allergy tested? They can test exactly what foods and inhalents he is allergic to. For the food part they provide a list of foods he can be on depending on his allergies. Depending on inhalents, sometimes they need allergy injections.

Just plain old benedryl. Even the store brand works wonders but you have to give it on a consistant baises. and maybe the shampoo is drying out his skin the alargies are very bad this year due to no hard winters.

Just plain old benedryl. It really works wonders. Our cat has a skin condition that cause dry patches and she used to scratch constantly. But we give her 1 benedryl everyday wrapped in a little piece of cheese and now she's itch free!!

He should see a vet who specializes in dermatology. He should probably be on a restricted diet such as AvoDerm and sweet potatoes. Add some omega supplements to his diet made for dogs such as Lipiderm.

Your dog probably has dry skin. Go buy some oatmeal shampoo and bathe him in it and that will help the dry skin.
