Why does everyone thing all illegal aliens are from Mexico?

illegal aliens are also AMERICANS too. Just overstaying visas in other countries or entering other countries illegally.

'Everyone' doesn't. Many say "Mexican" when referring to the illegal immigrants b/c it was THEIR flag that THEY flew OVER the American Stars and Stripes and b/c MOST of the people coming across the USA border with Mexico are MOSTLY MEXICAN. It is THAT influx WE Americans are so outraged by. THEY are the illegal immigrants that have used and abused the USA more than any other group of ILLEGAL immigrants from any other country.Yes, there are illegal immigrants from many countries and they are just as guilty of breaking our law of illegal entry and should get legal or get deported. Latino's, Hispanics, whatever they want to be called 'today', who are in the USA illegallyneed to go home. They have not minced words as to how they hate Americans, the USA, our laws, our leaders, our flag, our language, our anthem and they are not needed nor wanted. It is NOT just Mexicans coming across that border. There are illegal people coming from Central and South America, Africa, Iraq, and who knows where else, they are not screened, they are not documented, they could be terrorists, we have the right to secure our borders for all reasons. If those people are called Mexican it is not meant that all illegal people coming across that border are actually Mexican people, it is b/c they came from Mexico via our border. It is just a natural thing for people in the USA to say 'Mexican'. Sure, we should just say 'illegal immigrants' or 'illegal invaders' or 'illegal aliens', but we usually just say 'Mexican'. Rather than make an issue out of the 'word' used the issue to be addressed is illegal entry. Why waste time arguing about the correct 'word' when that is not the issue. Many people wanted to and still want to make 'race' an issue, when 'race' has absolutely nothing to do with wanting our borders secured and our laws enforced. But, they do it to try and get off the subject of illegal entry. It's so irrelevent. Not many 'thinK' all illegals are from Mexico.

I don't think everyone thinks all illegal immigrants are from Mexico, but perhaps many Americans may think so, seeing as they are to the north of Mexico.

I think many Americans focus more on the fact that illegal immigrants from Mexico are in a greater number than those from any other country in the United States. Secondly, almost all news is biased, so most likely they just cover the stories they want to. "Illegal Immigration" along with the wall building story would most likely be the one to go for, so naturally the most we'd hear about would be illegal immigrants from Mexico.

It's the closest country, so of course you'd blame your neighbor. It's also a hot topic so everyone is on a rampage that Mexicans are the only illegal aliens even though many illegals are from several other parts of the world (i.e., Asia, Europe, Middle East and more).

Because they are guided by the "majority rule", but they don't read enough to understand that there are other "illegal" aliens that for example smuggle underaged prostitutes from East Europe (Russians), smuggle chinese to work on underground sweatshops (Chinese), smuggle children from Mexico and the rest of Central America to be used in pornography and slavery-prostitution (lots of professional American citizens)...sooo.....instead of hating and worrying about illegal aliens from Mexico people should be asking our Government to take care of those issues too...and you can find all these information in the past editions of Times Magazine or in the internet.....The majority of the illegal "Mexicans" stand on the corner to get a job for $5 a day on construction and provide to their families while there are caucasian US citizens standing on the corner beggin for money so they can ran and spend it on drugs and alcohol.and living from the Government......life's not fair....is it??

No one is saying that they are all from Mexico. If you took the time to read all the posts you would see that. The reason the Mexicans are brought up so much in regards to illegal immigration is they represent the greatest number of those who are here illegally and break OUR laws.
