The Bible says "I will come like a thief in the night" all I can say is to be prepared! Good Luck

Never! The end would of necessity indicate a beginning. I believe everything exists, has always existed and always will. Form, energy states and such change perhaps as our weather systems do here on Earth. In enormous cyclical patterns. The wheel just rolls on and on.
Or, if you are speaking only of the Earth----- any second Dude! The crazy you-know what-holes in charge of the worlds governments could push the button at any time and it's been this way since the creation of the atom bomb. I borrowed a book from my then Nieces husband titled "How to Win a Nuclear War" which outlined the major game plans for nuclear war that the U.S. has had and even had info on the # of bombs we had scheduled for what Russian cities! VERY SCARY READING!!!!!
I can't find this book again but would like to. The material was supposed to be from recently released govt. documents uynder the "freedom of information" act.
But back to your question- just act like the world will end tomorrow and one day you will be right!

I believe that the Lord's second coming is coming but I don't know when. I honestly think that God is making the world think with all this Global Warming that the world is coming to an end which according to scientists is possible but...the Lord said (according to the Bible) that fires from outside and all kind of disasters will come. He didn't say the earth will melt. LOL

We all just have to be prepared and live life to the fullest.

Just like the 2nd coming, no one will know the time. But Jesus said, "There will be wars and talk of wars, but the time is not yet" I always took that to mean the end times would start during a period of protracted peace.

That doesn't mean a time of good will, because if a single, powerful, evil empire dominated the world, there would be peace.

Never.

But the end of this age or dispensation is near, 2007-2014.

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

end G4930
συντέλεια
sunteleia
soon-tel'-i-ah
From G4931; entire completion, that is, consummation (of a dispensation): - end.

world G165
αἰών
aiōn
ahee-ohn'
From the same as G104; properly an age; by extension perpetuity (also past); by implication the world; specifically (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future): - age, course, eternal, (for) ever (-more), [n-]ever, (beginning of the, while the) world (began, without end). Compare G5550.

It is going to get a lot worse, but I think that the great tribulation will start anytime between now and the year 2012 , The end of the world is at least 1000 years away...

the sun will soon turn into a red giant in a few billion years. b/c it is 5 billion years old, they predict it will last for about 10 billion years. and since it is in it's middlage years it'll be a little iffy but still. it 5 billion or so years, the sun will grow overvome the planet, making it a damned dry plant that the heat is unbearsable. soon it will explode after that and it'll become a dwarf of some sort i forget now. and that is when earth will be over.

Unjust wars. Persecution of the innocent and helpless. Mysterious illnesses that baffle the most skilled physicians. Unusual weather causing widespread destruction and misery. Stupidity and corruption everywhere you look.

Which century have I just described -- the thirteenth or the twentieth? (Hint: Both.)

Each successive generation complains that things are worse than ever and Jesus Just Gotta Come Soon Or I'm A-Gonna Lose It.

I'm sure if you do a web search you can get a good idea when the sun will run low on fuel and eventually supernova, engulfing planets as far as jupiter. But mankind will die out long before that happens.
Politicians and religious leaders will make sure of that.

It's been the "end times" for about 2,000 years, I'm sure they'll get here sooner or later.

Maybe if thumpers would stop voting for evil people (Bush & the GOP), the world wouldn't be quite so evil.

If we dont kill it first, the earth is going to die when the sun dies. since the sun is a star and stars die (i dont know the science to it but i think it will be a dwarf or something) and it will expand to the point where it will engulf mercury, venus, earth and maybe even mars). at least that is what i have heard on the discovery channel!! i know a bit scary but we'll all be dead. it is supposed to happen like in four billion yrs.
