if you go to a mental health center, it will not show on your record for life or at all. that is supposed to be completely confidental. but if you are senteced by a judge to go there then yes it will be on record for life, bc it is considered a sentencing. but to go there on your own or family puts you there then no it wont

Mental health records are kept strictly confidential. What record are you referring to? Your health record for the hospital? Yes, it will stay in there that you went, but what actually took place is not generally available in your medical record. They are kept seperately.
