I bought a sample pack of Stacker 3 with Chitosan today just to try it and it gave me some unpleasant side effects and I only took one pill, yes I'm throwing the rest out. I don't want any smart answers about taking diet pills because I normally don't and I do exercise, like I said I just wanted to try them. I think they are crap and I'm going to stick good ole diet and exercise. Did you have side effects with them and if so what were they?

Well, I didn't know what either of those are (ok, I'm male, not into slimming so why should I?) so I looked 'em up.

Stacker 3 has side effects, the main one of which appears to be jitters:

"Stacker 3 Side Effects
Yes, unfortunately, even stacker 3 ephedra free can have possible side effects. For example, we do have some friends who have tried it and among the stacker 3 side effects they've reported are: feeling restless, unable to sleep sometimes, and jitters. Please keep in mind that these effects of stacker 3 diet pills are not exhaustive. Everybody is biochemically different and will react differently on it. If you decide to try it, make sure you monitor how you feel, and if you don't feel "right" -- too jittery, faster heartbeats, headaches, dizziness, etc. -- then stop taking it or reduce the dosage. And we would suggest you start off at half dose and slowly work up to full dosage and gauge how you feel and let your body adjust to it."

it has this to say about Chitosan:
-- Chitosan

"This is touted perhaps the most prominently by the makers of the new stacker 3 diet pills.

In fact, one gets the distinct impression that for the stacker 3 ephedra free formula, this ingredient is touted in the advertising almost to the extent that this is what will replace ephedra as the major key to fat burning/weight loss success.

However, we cannot find any independent scientific clinical studies that show it to be as effective as ephedra. Yes, ephedra had its dangers, and it's now banned, but it was effective as a weight loss agent.

It remains to be seen if Chitosan will be."

Reading these pages makes me wonder why stuff like this is allowed to be sold without prescription or medical advice of some kind. OK ... granted I can do at least as much damage to myself at something like the same price using tobacco and alcohol and a fast food diet - none of which requires a prescription. (Sorry, that was not meant to be a smart answer - just a general observation from a somewhat shocked male!)
