If it is your cousin it doesn't seem like you should have to "convince"

But if your cousin is a bad influence, just leave it alone. give up.

I don't see what the problem is with having a cousin sleep over, after a cousin is family. But I suppose that would all depend upon the situation.
My cousins have slept over tons of times, and for a little more then a year one of my cousins even lived with my family, while he went to college.

um like actually if he/she is honestly your cousin i'm sure that u won't have 2 do much convincing. just go up to your parents and ask them as nicely as you can. if this doesn't work just act like you're having a really fun time with your cousin then your parents will feel bad. (maybe) LOL if they still say no i'm sure the two of u will have many other chances for sleepovers.

Ask early enough for them to not think of it as an inconvenience to their plans. Asking at the last minute makes it hard to think about.

tell them that everyone in your family could die at some point, and this person might be the only one left, so you need to make your relationship stronger now so you'll have someone close!
