I wiped out my laptops HD and now can't get anything back on because I can't find the book for Windows 98SE Update. Please help as I need this for school. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

This happened to me recently I had to reinstall Windows 98SE and I didn't have the product key so I called Gateway and they gave me a new one so try calling whoever made your computer it worked for me

If you wiped out the hard drive, then install a new operating system. Windows 98 isn't even supported by Microsoft anymore.

Since you obviously have web access you can do a search for Win98Se. there are many keys and you may have to try a few to get one that works. You can always see if one of your friends still has it.

you can search warez sites for a product key just rnter into google search[ serialz warez win98 product key ] follow the links and copy down the keys try one till it works.

If your computer came with this preinstalled, contact the manufacturer. They should help you with this!
