Far from it. People have been doom-crying for the past two-thousand years. It's a way for people to feel special. Why should it be any different now?

The end of the world might be in 5 minutes, tomorrow, next week, or somewhere in the next 10 centuries. Who knows. The world can't be stable forever. But you'll surely be in another place by the time it's gone. Hopefully. The point is, live your life to it's fullest while you can. Die with no regrets or thinking "I wish I would of done..." because once your life is over, you won't be able to go back and fix your problems. There's no telling when it's going to be the end of the world. Eventually, the world will be a memory because it won't last forever. But right now, don't think about it. Think about what you can still do while you live on this planet.

Actually there were two dates that I was watching.

The first one was in my eighth grade Earth Science class and in the video, the guy said the world would end roughly in 5 billion years because it would get too close to the sun and everything would blow up or melt or something like that.

Another one was sophomore year in World History and we were watching this video on the Mayans and it kind of scared me because the Mayans were extremely accurate in everything they did involving time and calendars and stuff (They were extremely close to finding the number PI without calculators (well obviously, lol)) and they said the world would end on December 23, 2012...which is pretty damn soon...and since they were so accurate...well, ya never know lol. I hope the first one was more precise though, lol.

Pretty soon, if we don't get population under control and stop dumping our waste into our air and water. Figuring that some Jesus will come back and fix everything is about as dumb a thing anyone could believe.

Not sure about the exact date but soon.
If you have read the bible you will see that some of the things that led up to revelations is in current events.

When the sun expands to the size of a red giant and literally swallows the earth. . .of course humanity and all other forms of life would have long since been wiped out by this time.

I wouldn't worry about when the world is coming to an end. Just live your life the best you can. The rest will take care of itself....no matter what you believe in.

in approximately 315 billion years, the sun will burn out. At this time earth will cease to exist. That's science.
