I think the breed that I raise is the prettiest, but I wouldn't recommend them as pets for a beginner. But, every time I go out with them, people drive a U-turn to come back and look at them.

I have to say a "Weimaraner." Pretty, Gray/Silver Color/ Big Dogs/ Gorgeous Eyes

These are one of the most beautiful and smartest dogs that I have ever come across. We currently have one that's 7 years old that we receive about a month ago, due to former family not being able to keep her.

So, now that we have her, she's wonderful!! Even at her age, she's very energetic, happy, mannerable, very protective, easy to train in different things, and gets along very well with all types of animals and loves kids. <----- wonderful qualities. (Even though we did not raise Ms. Kasey, she's a part of the family and she fit right in with us over a short period.)

Anyway, that's my opionion on the best dog. Hope everything goes well for you in which ever breed you decide to go with.

This is a Question you have to answer yourself...Go visit some Shelters...Read up on different breeds,,Decide What YOU want in a Dog..Laid Back? High Energy? Long Hair, Short Hair, Everyone has different Tastes I personaly like retired racing greyhounds..They arent real common and they are great pets..They just can never run loose. Good Luck on What you decide

Newfoundlanders...I think this is the spelling. Huge very furry lovable dogs. I don't have one personally, although if I could have a large dog I would seriously consider them. I've seen them a number of times and just love em!

...Or better yet, check out the shelter. You'll find some great dogs in need of a home with all types of personality and characterstics.

The best dog in the whole wide world, is the dog that becomes yours. Don't bother with a certain breed, mutt or otherwise. Find one that touches your heart, and pull it close. Remember, they're forever.. don't be someone that will toss it away for whatever reason. They're for a lifetime!

Only you can answer this question for yourself. Go frequently to your local animal shelter and I promise you that during one of these visits a dog will catch your eye and suddenly you will have a best friend that you cannot do without. You will know when it is the right one. If you leave and don't adopt it then you will find that you just have to go back and get it (and hope it is still there).

The prettiest has to be a Siberian Husky, but if you want a good combo of brains and beauty it's got to be the Boarder Collie, nice looking dog and also the smartest of all the breeds.

Salukis are very pretty I think. They are like Afghans but less grooming. They need lots of running room though and you MUST train them but if you're serious about getting a dog I'm sure you know that goes for all dogs. Good luck.

That is a wonderful question so with my 2 cents I would have to say a boxer. There is nothing as beautiful as a boxer from there eyes to the love that they give there owner.
