is somebody tell me why some american people want come live in Canada. I watch someting at t.v. show who they talk about some american want immigrate here. Ok, they talk about the liberty like gay want married together and they came here for that. So some of the man don't want go made their service in the army etc. But i want to know from you, what is your answer ?

Well I'm glad you asked that question and I have the answer my friend.We in Canada live Democracy unlike the States who preaches Democracy but is on its own private agenda to dominate the entire planet for oil and profit.We have free Medicare. We like everybody because we believe that everyone of us is equal and we all have the right to be complacent.We're Canadian so we don't mind showing you our Beaver and we will party at the drop of a hat and yes we fart and drink beer and about one quarter of us enjoy Marijuana so whats not to love.. WE R CANADIAN

Canada is a country that seems to have their stuff together. Canada doesn't have issues the US has. Your country provides health care for all and has cheap prescription drugs. You also offer gay marriage, which is something our country will not offer. Your country also offers shelter to those who do not want to serve in the US military (can you really blame them with this Iraq chaos going on). Your country looks like an oasis to some.
There are a lot of Canadians who immigrate here as well (I know quite a few and I'm sure they have their reasons).
Immigration has been happening for many years and will continue to happen. You are just going to have to get used to it as we Americans have. Sorry.

Some people (especially liberals living in the south) think Canada is more liberal and free-thinking than the US and that they'd be better off there. Other people genuinely like Canada. I know that when I visitted Vancouver several years ago, I came home telling people that I could see myself living there. Then you have people who fall in love with a Canadian and the couple decides to make Canada their home.
Canada is a seperate country from the USA, but culturally, one could almost equate immigrating to moving from upstate New York to Los Angeles, California.

Some Americans want to come to Canada because we have Health Care. We do not have President Bush as president. Gays are allowed to marry without being shunned. Every race is treated as equal.

I'm marrying a gorgeous Canadian who is a gazillion times the man that any American man could ever hope to be. Yes, I'll miss living in the US, but in the end, I'll be happier where he is, and that happens to be Canada.
