The Iraq people are scared and why should they stand up to them ? Just think about it WE have OUR Brave Women and Men to do that.

I think that we need to get out people out of the whole country and bumb all of it.
Our people are the ones keeping peace between each other and we still have men and women die for us and protecting us....

The insurgents and some Iraqis think they are doing just that, by fighting the America occupiers/ terrorist.

We should have never gone into Iraq in the first place... but nuking them would have been an even bigger mistake.

Things in Iraq will stabilize when we are gone and the next Saddam Hussein fills the void. Only a brutal dictator can keep the peace in a country so divided amongst religious and ethnic lines.

I have a proposition for the world:
Let's not talk about nukes. Let's not ever say we should nuke anyone ever again. We nuked two cities in Japan in WWII, and we killed so many people whose only crime was being a citizen of Japan. We ended WWII with those bombings, so we can justify them, but could we ever really justify killing so many people in such a horrific way in Iraq? No.

I don't like the war in Iraq, but there are people there who are glad that the US deposed Saddam, even if they don't like what we're doing in their country now. These people DID stand up to the terrorists, by voting for the new government last year, even though by appearing at the pols and by wearing the blue mark on their thumbs they risked being blown up. Should we have nuked these people, who want for themselves what we have had in the US for so long? People who don't want to live in 1800 any more?

What is it that makes them undeserving of freedom? I believe all people deserve freedom, and deserve to not be afraid of their government, and deserve to be able to believe and speak as they choose. What makes people in Iraq less deserving than people anywhere else in the world?

Man, do you know anything about nuclear fall out? Do have any idea of the neighbouring states of Iraq and their importance to world trade? Nuking would not be a very effective answer - too many far reaching ramifications. On the other hand, biological and chemical warfare presents a tantilising offer..let's poison their water and gas the fcukers! That'll teach em for being stuck in the 1800's, hell yeah.

You are so ignorant... Nuke Iraq??? Wow, you aren't any better than Saddam Hussein if you believe that. Millions of people there are innocent and don't deserve to die! Imagine the genocide that would occur! We did that to Japan, with A-bombs, but close enough. Millions of people died, and they are still suffering the consequences of radioactivity. If we nuke Iraq, sure the terrorists die, but so will millions of innocent men, women, and children.
But to answer your question, that's because a lot of people are terrorists, and the terrorists are oppressing the multitudes with fear, threats, and acts of violence.
Just put yourself in their shoes! Imagine if the same situation was based here in the US! What would you do if they killed your neighbor, and threatened you with death if you did anything. What if they were bombing a Wal-mart every day, and no one knew where the bombs were coming from? Then you might understand their situation.
Iraq is slowly and steadily standing up for itself, by basing the government, and establishing police actions, but as in all war torn countries, the chaos left after the war takes time to repair!
And don't ever say any human life isn't worth it. Do unto others as they would do unto you! I'm starting to think from your statement that maybe you aren't worth it, if you don't believe their lives are worth it and that they are just some sort of savage. Your idealism of them being inferior is of the 1800s
I am not saying the terrorists are better than you though, since they are much worse, by actually killing innocent people, but I want to say that there are many good people from Iraq, as around their world, and one must respect them!

Iraq was the most advanced country in the Middle East before the first Gulf War. They produced more doctors and engineers than any other country in the region.

As for nuking them, it would be kinda hard to stick the 'liberation' tag on a country that you nuke.

Iraq should have just been left alone - no nuking, no warmongering, and no lies about WMD or being involved in Sept. 11.

There were no terrorists in Iraq back then. If that part of the world had just been left alone, more resources would have been available for Afghanistan, where the Actual Terrorists (tm) were located.

Most if Iraq is standing up to the terrorists infesting their country. It's just a slow process to kick them all out.
We couldn't have nuked Iraq and still used the term Operation Iraqi Freedom, so one of them would have had to go.

Many of the people in Iraq are good people and they deserve a better life. I think it is time to leave though. Some of this is due to the amount of American lives lost (1 was too many). Oh, but not the ones that raped and murdered over there--they should be killed.

Nuke Iraq for what ? What has Iraq done to America ? North Korea has nuclear weapons that could potentially reach the shores of the U.S. Why isn't anybody upset about this and why hasn't Bush addressed this issue more forcefully ?

Who invaded whose country?

If your nation was invaded by a hostile foreign army, who would you support?

The US is the "terrorist" in Iraq and some Iraqis are standing up to her.

Iraq had no army, navy, air force or missile system capable of threatening the US, so on what basis would you "nuke" Iraq?
