Nature is like an innocent child. Ooooh how it's so easy to steal lunch money from the little tyke. However, the little tyke has a big brother that likes to rip mankind a new one. I wouldn't worry about us wiping nature out. I would worry about nature wiping us out once it gets too pissed off.

We plant new trees when we chop them down. Do you live in a wooden house or use paper in your life? Then shut up.
Nearly all pollution levels in the United States have decreased over the last 10 years.
We are discovering new species of animals and plants all the time. Very few are going extinct, and several of the ones on the Endangered Species List have been removed from their protective status because they have recovered so well.
If you think we're overpopulating the planet, you could always kill yourself a save us all the whining.

Well God in your mind destroyed it once right ? Noah and the flood . But in reality it is much better now then it was back in the 1960's. It is like there are lots of chicken little's running around , the sky is falling . Wake up , the world has been here for a long time (BEFORE THE MODERN MEDIA POLLUTED MINDS). The world is not being destroyed . trees are replanted everyday . Animals still have wild areas to live in . there are 1000s of acres set aside for them . I say it is time to wake up , breath deep , you live because of oxygen and where does that come from ??? TREES and PLANTS .......

Despite the fact that the environment suffers somewhat from daily human activites, there are plenty of people working to preserve it too. And are you saying that without nature, no one can believe in god? Well I think some of the theists out there would be prone to disagree, as I am sure that they still believe in God even in a closed room with no windows where they can't see the trees and the rain and the hopping bunnies.

"no other form of life will ever have a chance of existing."??
I think that's giving us a little bit too much credit. Do you realize that a meteor the size of a mountain hit the Earth and darkened the skies for decades resulting in the deaths of the dinosaurs (one theory) before the Earth gave rise to the age of mammals?
We might destroy the Earth for us, but something else will come along.

Greed and selfishness: the two human traits that account for virtually every single woe on the planet.
But don't worry: according to Revelation 11:18, there is an appointed time to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.

Mother Nature is striking back. She beat the crap out of New Orleans and Indonesia last year and just wait until she gets her rampage going this year.

The planet will still be here long after we and every other living thing are gone. Life has arisen before, no doubt it will arise again.

Because we were given free will.
Free will causes us to destroy everything around us because we as human cannot grasp the idea of existence. That's why we always question it.
