Sure, especially is their feet are tender. Then they prefer a softer litter. Also, some cats have an allergy to certain perfumes that manufacturers put in the litter for our comfort.

Are you talking about a place for them to poop, or kittens? I think they probaly don't care about kitty litter, but in kittens? No clue. Never been a cat or a mom.

as in their kittens? idk but ive known cats to ignore or neglect certain ones, either due to illness or they have too many in the litter and neglect the weakest
