I am sure many would argue there are many classic novels that are very romantic, i.e., just about anything by Jane Austen but for a contemporary series I love Sherilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series. A coworker got me hooked on them and even with hearing the latest isn't the quality of her earlier works I still plan on reading it. She weaves contemporary people and times with mythical creatures and timeless love stories. It really depends on what you are looking for in a novel as to what really appeals. I like to turn my mind off and get lost in the story plus a little trashiness and sass add to the fun. Life is complicated enough to read something sad like Love Story.

I think the princess bride was the best romance novel that i have ever read i will recommend it to anyone it is so much adventure and so much love and it states that women can be mean and cruel to a man and that the man will still love her and stick by her side. It was so cool i have read it over and over again. I think a lot of people would like it how the man in there loves her so much and does anything to save her.

Pride & Prejudice. It makes you think about first impressions and how love is not always about attraction, but brains.
