STOP THIS PROGRAM IMMEDIATELY! Your body requires at least 1500 calories a day, and that's if you slept 24 hours! By only putting in 900 calories you are crash dieting, and when you leave your diet, you will regain even more weight, in fat. Here's the inside scoop on what your body will do:

1. It will go into starvation mode. You will begin to crave all foods, anything with calories. By limiting your calorie intake so much, your body will typically respond by wanting you to binge eat (I've been through this, it's not pretty).
2. Starvation mode = ditch muscle + keep fat. Muscle is metabolically expensive, therefore it is the first to go. Fat contains the most calories per gram for energy, therefore it will be stored as readily as possible on a diet like this.
3. Once you exit your diet, most people resume their old eating habits and since their body is still in starvation mode, they over-eat and it is all stored as fat.

So, I suggest the following:

Hitting the gym is a great start, but you should set up an account at fitday.com and find your calorie needs. Aim only about 500 calories below this daily need. You will safely lose a pound per week, and you won't regain it all in fat when you leave the diet. Also, incorporating a small amount of weight lifting (intense weightlifting) will work wonders for your body! Good luck!

P.S. John is wrong, you'll lose muscle, and gain fat. Since muscle weighs more than fat, that's where the pounds come off when attempting this diet and purely cardio for a workout. And John, learn to type.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

To lose weight, you have to consume less calories than you burn. This simply means to eat smaller meals every day, not to skip meals. Getting more exercise can help speed the process up. That's wonderful, what you're doing. There's no point in cutting carbs, you're still going to eat a lot of fat and calories.

Yes you will, but it will be a strain on your feet (and boring). I vary it up. For example: 45 minutes on a treadmill with the highest inclide. What I have in our gym is 15 and go about 3.5-4.0 speed. On a different day, I use the stairmaster using random for 45 minutes. And another day, I do run outside. Don't forget to hydrate also! Good luck!

Yes though you should not lower your calorie intake below 1200 calories. Trust me I lived on 800 calories a day, for nearly and it's not worth you might be skinny but your stomach is hurting all the time with hunger and you will become really sick.

Yes, but 900 calories is probably not enough calories. 1200 is easier to keep up with, and you won't feel starved if you eat the right things.

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

You will almost certainly waste away to nothing at only 900 calories. That's quite unhealthy.

You have to be careful. With that amount of exercise, and that little amount of food, your body will go into 'preservation mode' and will 'store' calories. THe key to lose weight is by not starving yourself. You will lose muscle and store fat.
