Well, we have brains and mouths...and fingers.

Nothing wrong with thinking and voicing an opinion.

I don't tolerate religous bigotry.

Clearly, the questioner does not know all the details of the former drug dealer's finances, or what good he might already have done with his wealth. In addition, it seems that there was not a defrauded victim that should have been repaid.

The bible principles on this matter show that a person who has defrauding others would make conscientious effort to repay them. Any other distribution of ill-gotten gain is voluntary, subject to secular law.

(Luke 19:6-8) With rejoicing [Zacchaeus] received [Jesus] as guest. But when they saw it, they all fell to muttering, saying: “With a man that is a sinner [Jesus] went in to lodge.” But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord: “Look! The half of my belongings, Lord, I am giving to the poor, and whatever I extorted from anyone by false accusation I am restoring fourfold.”

(Exodus 22:1) “In case a man should steal a bull or a sheep and he does slaughter it or sell it, he is to compensate with five of the herd for the bull and four of the flock for the sheep.

(Leviticus 6:5) or anything at all over which he might swear falsely, and he must make compensation for it in its full amount, and he will add to it a fifth of it. To the one whose it is he will give it on the day his guilt is proved.

(2 Samuel 12:6) And for the female lamb he should make compensation with four, as a consequence of the fact that he has done this thing and because he did not have compassion.”

Jehovah's servants are not perfect. All people make mistakes in every religion. Showing hatred towards them is not what a christian should do. They love their God Jehovah and they love his Son Jesus, and try to remain faithful, even when undergoing extreme persecution. Why do people slander God's Witnesses so much? Because Jesus foretold that would happen to his followers. If they persecuted Jesus, then they would do the same to them. Think about how much your religion is hated or persecuted and see where it fits into Jesus prophecy.

When I lived at home and started working, our local insurance advisor who was a Jehovah Witness was struck off because the money he collected (this was in the days before direct debit etc) he would deposit into his own bank account so that he would earn the interest himself. When they discovered these irregularities, we never saw him again.

As we are all imperfect we all do things that may hurt or offend others. As strangers on the net, we don't know all the facts about your friend, we know what you have said. It very well could be true, but even so none of us can judge others. The only judge is God so we all have to look out for what we ourselves do. We all render an account so lets leave it up to him to judge others.

I like "cool_carfreak" answer, we do not know everything, maybe what you have said is true, maybe it is not.

There are a lot of negative ??? and answers pertaining to the Jehovah's Witnesses, and most of them are just that "negative" "or a statement that deviates from or perverts the truth."

JW's have caused so much pain and suffering in the world...no surprise they use "dirty" money. Keep slamming your doors in their faces. My lover was raised by them and has had terrible trauma from the experience. I would like to sit all of the "elders" and "secret society guys" in a room, tied to their chairs and force them to listen to all of the proof that they are full of crap and make them admit it and apologize. What a waste of good human beings!!!
