The words I seek
Remain lost
Love may come
But at a cost
You see, my love
My feelings are strong
My heart pumps fast
For what belongs
Come with me, my dear
Let me show you my heart
Only then will our happiness
Never fall apart
Open your eyes
Don't let your feelings hide
Walk with me hand in hand
Side by side
I do feel for you, my love
Deep down inside
It's you that I see
When I close my eyes
I've seen you
In a million dreams
You're my life

If that doesn't melt her heart, nothing will. I bet you it'll turn her to a puddle of butter. Women love poetry, especially if you wrote it yourself. She's going to love it.
