i choose regular! i perfer real watermelon not that seedless crap. i like my fruit ripe and juice no picked at the wrong time or crossed with pumpkins (some how they give the atermelon play pumpkin roots and thus produces seedless or mostly seedless). i like the real teste and i have hardly ever found a bad regular but with seedless one i miss by 60% their just not as good.

Unfounded personal expectations and beliefs, no matter how forcefully stated, amount to nothing more than common expressions of ignorance. the seedless watermelon is not crossed with anything. the watermelon was bred to develop fewer seeds much later so that the seeds are vestigial when one eats them.

there is no taste difference between seedless and seeded as long as both are equally ripe.

Seedless :-)

Seedless watermelons aren't created by grafting pumpkin roots or whatever. They are mutated so they are a sterile triploid (have three sets of chromosomes instead of two). Since they are sterile, they have no (or very few) seeds.

I have found a small seedless that tastes like a black diamond, which is the best tasting watermelon ever! Get them at HEB, in Central Texas.

Although I prefer the regular ones, I buy the small seedless one because of the size. They are sweet and perfect for one.

i perfer seedless it is easier to eat because when you get the regular one you have to take the seeds out and it's better seedless watermelon

Gimme seedless mini watermelons (the size of cantaloupes)! God knows what was done to them to get them that way, but they are perfect! Guaranteed sweet, and I've never had one that wasn't.

Ok, they aren't quite as good as the twenty-pounders we used to pick on my grandfather's farm, but still!

Regular. Gives me spitting practice. I was always so jealous of the neighborhood kids that could "Ptew" the seeds a few feet away, while I, on the other hand, ended up with them on my chin & in my lap. Heheheh. That and sunflower seeds. I ALSO have found greater luck with the regulars being tastier.
