It will no longer be *easily* accessible, although depending on what the digital camera does, the bits that make up the picture may still technically be on the memory card, however you'll need some special software to do this (say, File-Rescue Plus). Until you get this, I would avoid using the memory stick in any way to avoid overwriting it since the camera has now slotted those pieces of memory as over-writable. Good luck!

If the memory card hasn't been used since the file was deleted, there's a pretty good chance it can be recovered. Do a search for "flash memory recovery" on Yahoo! and you should find a number of capable applications.

I should add that you may need a card reader. If you don't have one already, I'd recommend picking one up anyhow. They're a faster, easier way to get pictures from your memory card without having to hook your camera up to your computer. If you don't want to buy one, someone you know may have one that you can borrow.

As long as you haven't taken other pictures and "overwritten" your memory card, the deleted photos can be recovered.

Use the below link to access a demo program that will allow you to recover 2 photos for free. It's called File Rescue Plus and it's offered through:

http://www.softwareshelf.com/files/downloads.asp

Fill out the registration form and make sure you select File Rescue Plus as your download. Click on "submit" and follow the directions to download. When the download is finished, double click on FileRescuePlusDemo.exe and follow the installation wizard prompts.

Connect the camera containing the deleted photos to your computer or remove the memory card and use a card reader connected to your computer.

Click start > all programs > software shelf > file rescue plus to start the recovery program. Click on Picture Rescue > OK and follow the prompts.

Not unless you have a protection option where you can lock your photo. If the only memory card you have in there, is the camera it might. But if you delete a picture off of your external memory card, it's gone sorry.

If you delete the picture from the memory card it wont be in the memory card. If you delete the picture which you transfer to your PC still you have the picture in your memory card.

The picture will still be on the card as long as the card has not been formatted or other shots taken on it. There are other software programs that will allow you to recover lost files if that is what you want. if you just wantto make sure the image is gone, then format the card and shoot with it to overwrite the existing info...

You've got to delete it out of the 'trash', then its gone, otherwise, when you plug it into the computer it will be in the trash folder and able to be viewed.
