well today i went to a 4th festivle with this girl i liked and i knew she liked me and i was gona ask her out i knew she would say yes but we met up with some friends and my friend asked her out before me and she said yes.. i was a bit mad and i was feeling pretty angry and when i was sitting there they came up and asked if i was ok.. noone has ever asked me that cuz i always seem like im in a good mood... im sitting there feeling angry at him and he is concerned about me.... what kind of asshole am i?

not bcuz of the part with her going out with him but the way i felt about it... i have never been jealous of any1 b4... and today i got jealous of 2 really good friends...

the only reason i really felt bad is cuz he has a gf right now and he told us he cheated on her... and he hasnt even broken up with his current gf... but i guess i shoulda just asked her sooner..

i was talking to her the night b4 and was askig her about if she would go out with me if i asked her and she said she would... but i didnt feel like being some kind of jerk and ask her outover the phone.. thats just not meeningful...

You are definitely not a bad person! It's normal to feel some jealousy, and I think you may be feeling a little annoyed with yourself for waiting so long to ask her that your friend beat you out. I have a question, though: why can't you ask her out too? I mean, it's not like they are in a relationship. I have to admit that I'm an older and more experienced than most of the people that seem to be on here, so maybe I'm not up with current dating etiquette, but in my mind unless the two of them are seeing each other exclusively, then you can ask her out!

You are not a bad person, What made you not ask her right away? was it nerves? were you waiting for the right moment? Just because she went out with him does not mean that she will like him, she was with you first right? You can still call her this week and make plans to take her out for the weekend. One thing, make sure that you take her where you two can talk and get to know each other without interference and that your other friends will not be around. Let this be a lesson learned for you, next time ask her before another guy does.

Does he know that you like her?
You're not an asshole, you're obviously going to be a bit angry, you're only human. If he didn't know you liked her then you can't blame him. You can still be upset tho, but be happy he cares... You can't really get mad at him if he didn't know.
If he knew you liked her that's different. Of course, if that's the case, he wouldn't have asked you if you were ok cause he would know what he did was not ok.
