i get hit on alot more when i'm with my daughter ..by women that know or have heard about my situation...whats up with this ?

Some women see that as you being responsible, strong, and loving. Others see it as baggage. I don't think anyone hits on you because they "feel sorry for you". That's a load of bull. Women will hit on you because they like something about you. Personally, I wouldn't become involved with a guy w/custody because I don't feel I'd be a good role model/parent myself (and last time he wanted to stick me watching his kids 24/7). That said, I would be interested w/a father who did not have custody. Nothing against kids, I just don't handle "instant mom" status very well.

I think probably they're thinking, 'Oh, this is a guy who takes fatherhood seriously.' And that definitely is worth a few points... Although I personally would have to ask a lot of questions before getting involved, because the presence of a child suggests that the guy might not be morally free to do so(*).

I think that when a woman sees a man with kids that they automatically assume that the man is probaly a lot less wild then the average single man, that the dad is probably more domesticated and caring and things of that nature.

Alot of men do not want the full-time,24/7 ...365.....responsibility of having full-custody..and when a woman sees that you DID...yes,it is very attractive.I was quite impressed when I met a man who had full-custody of all three of his! I had full-custody of my 2 also...When he proposed...You better believe I said,"Yes." I wish you and your daughter the happiness you both deserve! Take Care....

I personally don't like when a guy has a kid, that isn't mine. A lot of women see that as a commitment. Some see it as the guy being responsible. But every woman is different.

for me, its nice to see a guy with his child especially when his proud of them...he's a man.
