I thank God today that there is peace in our streets, that my children are well and healthy. My wife is gorgous and the love of my life..I could never put into words how much I love this woman..married 26 years! I praise God for another day to help others..we gave away over 1000 bags of groceries in a poor neighborhood last week..we made numerous new friends. I thank God I have a great career with a wonderful future. I thank God for my neighbors who have become like family..I thank God for our Church that fantastic..I thank God for my parents who are incrediable parents and Grandparents..and my wife's family who are awesome. I could go on...but share with me the things God has Blessed you with????

This is my first time at Yahoo answers, and after wading through loads of trivial and sometimes disgusting questions & answers it is so great to come to one that is positive & reminds me to thank & praise the Lord.
On this day (and every day), I thank God for my freedom, my health, my 5 wonderful kids and my husband. I thank HIm for giving me a roof over my head and for giving my husband a job that makes it possible for me to stay home with my children to teach & train them. I thank Him for abundant food, and for providing every true need that my family and I have.

Thank GOD for the life We have here. My children were born in the USA and that means more than anything to me!
It breaks my heart to see parents of children in other countries bleeding from their hearts because their children are in danger for natural cases, war causes and/or people causes!
We have several relatives fighting in Iraq right now and my heart breaks for my cousins that have Children there! Thank GOD my Sons are not old enough to be there, BUT, they want to be.
I am raising my Sons( Their Dad is no longer with us) on my own and we are doing the best we can.
GOD has blessed me with the best children in the world and the stamina to make sure they stay that way!

I wish people would stop conflating patriotism with religion. We have a secular government. Instead of "Praising the Lord'" for the Fourth of July, how about praising the MEN who gave us that secular government? There is no example in history of a religious government allowing Liberty.

well, for starters, i'm alive and doing well! i thank GOD for my FAMILY.. all that we have, they come from The LORD!!! i agree with you, my friend, that there are sooo many things that GOD has done in our lives! HE has performed miracles in our lives too!for instance, if it wasn't for THE LORD, i wouldn't be here, writing to you. HE has done miracles for my wife and family, too!!GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD! i thank god today because he has allowed me to have my grandmom till know its The 4th of July and i have spent the Day in the hospital praying and worshiping my god for her and this great day so i know how you feel today keep singing

I am praising God, that we still have this country that lets us believe in God. Little by little the USA is eliminating God in everyway, but today I am thankful I can post my thanks and praise publicly to him. Someday this advatage will be taken away but today I thank Jesus for dying for me and I thank God for placing me in this country.
I pray for this land to come back to him
I pray for his hand on the lost and the poor
I pray for his blessings on all those who bravely acknowledge him
and I pray for the lost will find him
