First, check with your doctor to make sure it is really a milk allergy. If it is, you can switch to soy milk or rice milk, but both of these have been linked to protein deficiencies. So if you do this, talk to your doctor about how to make sure that your toddler gets enough protein.

Actually, the closest thing to human milk is goat milk. Takes a little adapting, but only because we are used to cow milk. Give it a try. Very unlikely to trigger allergy.

Depends on the allergy, is it the protein or lactose. If it's lactose you can use Lactaid it's really sweet tasting so she'd probably like it since breast milk is sweet. Otherwise just look for juice with it added and add a mulitvitamin-ask your dr first.

I would have to agree with rice milk. Also, she may be presribed some type of pills or "liquid" vitamin D for her from her pediatrician.

What about ensure? I don't know if it is dairy based but it is full of nutrients! There are also tons of different types of formulas, I think there is at least one that is okay with milk allergies.

Rice milk is worth a try. There are also many cereal grain drinks available.
