I saw one article saying the same thing, but it measured in generations, not years. I saw others saying otherwise.
The point is that there are so many above any sane immigration limit, that the impact is much bigger, and they don't 'have' to learn English, which wasn't the case before.

I think that the most of the Spaniards do speak English already. They learn it in schools back home. The Spanish is spoken by more people than English is.

In New York, ESL classes have very long waiting lists. We have so many people wanting to learn English that have to wait and wait. Perhaps you should think about starting a small ESL group & advertise--I'm sure you'd have many people sign up for it.
