Im having a tooth cut out tomarrow and I was wondering what kind of pain medicine they would give me cause I really dont want to be in any pain at all if you can help please reply

Generally you get about 10 Tylenol #3 or maybe Lortab #5. Rarely do you get more than ten pills and they are to be taken no more than every 8 hours. Depending on many factors the dosage may be adjusted. You wont get enough for sure. Doctors are extremely difficult to get pain medicine from... Dental surgeons know how much you need, you need to be careful about depending on the medicine; it can be tricky to get off of.

I've had 4 wisdom teeth pulled out, one at a time plus another molar another time. I didn't use any pain medicine at all for any of them. Since I had toothaches before the teeth were pulled, I felt lots better after they were pulled out!

I just had mine done last friday. They were gonna give me loritab 5's but I was addicted to pain killers so I asked for Ibuprofen they gave me the 800 mg and they worked just fine.

The best to use is over the counter Ibuprofen, ie Motrin... All prescription stuff works half as good. This info from a any dentist or pharmacist I have talk to.

i take ponstan and atibiotic.
it's not as pain as you think actually, trust me ;) cuz my tooth cut out last month and it didnt pain at all.

I was given Tylenol 4 with Codeine... but the family denied me the use of any of it.

usually tylenol 3 with codiene or darvocet or percocet or vicodin

got wisdom teeth pulled and they gave me DEMEROL. GREAT STUFF. It put right to sleep and the pain was relieved.
