Just don't give him human vitamins. Go to a pet store and get something that has directions for your size dog.

If he is 14 and Healthy now just keep doing what your doing!I would really ask the vet about Vitamins..I use a food additive/vitamin called Platnium on my Foster Dogs that need a boost. Via the Vet but I really dont think someone who doesnt know your dog should tell you what to give him...I think Dog food has about All they need..Ask your Vet.

I cannot remember the name, but PetsMart sells it in a gold bag. There are two kinds, one with and one without calcimine. I would get the second. It's a powder that you sprinkle on top of the dogs food. If I remember right, it ran about $25 a bag, but it will last for a few months especially if you keep it refrigerated.

check out this web site www.vetbalance.com they have the best vitamins for any age group dog you could want. I use them & they are the best. My dogs eat it in their food & lick the bowl. I highly recomend use for the older dog.

If you feed a good quality dog food (and they only eat dog food) then you really don't need vitamins.
