Iraq is all oil.... Halliburton is Bush's...guess where the company is located? where they have operations? Bush family has been in the oil buisness for centuries. Terrorism, and most probably a fake terrorism implanted by goverment to start a war and attack later Iraq to get more control of oil productions and waht not. In one way or another the USa is famous for doing that in other countries.

Bush is what your mother told you to worry about. His thinking is evil, he cares nothing about young peple dieing for his own agenda.
He's as bad as Hitler. And he has brought the demise of this country in the eyes of the globe.

Well even though you stated in your answer to me "The idiots who are against the president and the war on terror should be rounded up and put into the Armed Forces of the USA " (and I did put 6 years in the Armed Forces) let me put it to you this way.
according to the DOD (department of defense)... the last time I looked we had around 100,000 troops in Iraq and around 20,000 in Afghanistan... you tell me if oil isn't more important. With 5 times the troops we found Saddam and Zarqawi in a much larger area... if we had 100,000 troops looking for Osama the whole time...odds are, we would have him. The Taliban are as much if not more oppressive as Saddam was. the idea is to capture and pacify all the strategic land in the middle east, and oil is a strategic resource every bit as much as control of mountain passes that give access to the oil reserves of the former soviets republics of Turkmenistan and Chechnya.
This is not being fought so that we can unveil the Arab women, or get them the vote.
And you call me an idiot. Why would you ask.

Why can't Bush supporters face the truth about Iraq?
That it WAS about oil. The dumbest thing I've heard from Bush supporters is that it's "obviously" not about oil because the price of gas has gone up and we're not getting any oil from Iraq. That's the POINT you maroons! If you steal oil from other countries, you can CONTROL the supply of oil that gets distributed. So if you hoard it and limit its distribution, the value of the oil goes UP because it's suddenly made artificially SCARCE by the ones controlling the oil! Just as when you invade and steal gold and diamonds from Africans, you can control the supply and therefore make the price of diamonds SKYROCKET! Supply and demand--you money-grubbling/worshipping conservatives should know all about that! Why do you think diamond and gold business owner/televangelist Pat Robertson called for the US to assasinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez? Because Chavez wants Venezuelans to control their OWN oil and sell it at their OWN prices to as many countries as will benefit Venezuelans!

No. If the U.S. wanted oil, they would never have asked for an oil embargo and would have greeted Saddam with open arms after Gulf War 1. The U.S. has found 500 chemical weapons since Gulf War 1 and proof that Saddam had terrorist cells in Iraq (one of the first documented cases was U.S. forces stumbled on a school ground full of suicide bomber vests when they first entered Baghdad.).

No...! If he did then why are paying $2.80 per gallon. Here is why we invaded Iraq.
1) Saddam used WMD's on his own people and Intelligence said he still had WMD's
2)Congress Both Rep. & Dem.'s said it was ok to attack.
3) Saddam tried to kill Bush Sr. when he was president
4)Saddam broke the no fly zone that was outlined by Geneva under Bill CLinton. In fact Clinton had enough on Saddam to go to war with him in the late 90's.
So if it were for oil why are we not seeing any benefits like cheap gas prices.
5) Saddam did support terrorist groups like Hamas and others. & Bush said right after 911 any country that supports terrorist is an enemy of the USA. So either you can join us or be against us.

No, a controlling interest of the oil markets and to avenge his father's wise decision not to do exactly what he subsequently has done.
Saddam was our puppet we knew exactly what arms we had sold him except for a few old scuds, do you think he would have been using those as a last resort in the 1st Gulf war if he had anything better?

This is one of the far left comments on the war; but they can't show you or me how the US is taking any oil? We pay for it at the market rate and have not stolen a drop from the Iraqi's. If it was for the oil - we really are failures at war.

No, Iraqi's use 80% of what they produce, if we were to invade a country for it's oil resources it would have been Saudi Arabia. Saudi is richer in oil resources and only uses 40% of what they produce.

I am sure he felt justified with his WMDs, and I feel we are doing at least a little good over there... but yes, I feel that the oil did play as a factor.
