Incidently ...i had one large tree cut down today...going to ask them to cut the trunk peices up in 15 cm thick stepping stones for the garden..let it dry first , and treat it.

They limb it with chainsaws, cut it into eight foot lengths (usually) and load it on trucks to be taken wherever they need it.
