If you have burning and pain when you urinate, you find that you're urinating more often than usual, it's harder to hold it when you have the urge to go, or you "leak". If you get to the bathroom, it hurts to pee, and only about a teaspoon comes out when you do go, then it's probably a UTI. Also, your urine may be cloudy, smell off, or have traces of blood in it. If you go to your doctor as soon as you can, you can just pee in a cup and they'll test it for bacteria to tell. Until then, drink lots of water and cranberry juice or orange juice (they both help to acidify your urine, which makes it hurt less to pee). Do be seen ASAP, though, because you'll need antibiotics, and UTIs can often have the same symptoms as STDs.

The symptoms of a uti are burning sensation while urinating, feeling the urge to urinate frequently ( sometimes right after you have gone ), sometimes there is a cramping sensation in abdomen. Only a doctor can prescribe medicine to clear up the infection. You will probably have to go to the doctor to give a urine sample to be tested. If there is an infection, the bacteria count will be high. Many people find relief by drinking lots of cranberry juice. This causes the urine to become very acidic which may decrease the bacterial count in your bladder. It is not a cure though. You most likely need to see a doctor. Hope you feel better.

It hurts when you pee. Your lower left side abdomen has throbbing pain. Sometimes, even your lower back hurts.

Those were the symptoms I went through when I had UTI but better consult a doctor instead just to be sure.

BTW, one way to flush it out is to drink coconut juice. :)

go to the doctor and get antibiotics. The sign/symptoms are as above. Cranberry juice only helps to prevent UTI not after you have it.

UTI not yeast infection right? Fever, painful urination and really stinky pee.

Burns when you pee. Urgency, like you have to go bad, but when you do, nothing comes out. Cramps. Sweating when you pee. Eventually blood or dark colored urine.
