I think men can be intimidated by women who aren't even independant. Although I think the same goes for men and women, I think men are usually more intimidated by women than the other way around.

Some men are some arent. Usually guys like to know that the women is willing to let them pay for things like movies, dinner and other things. Some may be heck if she is independent i dont have to may twice. It all depends on the person.

By all means, don't change and don't get discouraged. Some men are...insecurity for some. Ego for others. Control issues can be included in the mix. It's ok to set your standards high but keep them real and don't go off into fantasy land.

beacsue they want to have control over the gurls and they feel threatened when a women is more independent then them. and never change for a guy....after a while theyll brake ure heart.
