Border Collie...no I don't have one right now. Had a couple when I was a kid.

I love all dogs and have had several different kinds over the years. I loved my Rottweiler and a mixed breed that adopted me.
Right now I have two pugs, a 4 yr old male and my daughter's 6 month old female. They are the best dogs I have ever had. Very smart dogs. Good with kids and tons of fun.
Another great breed is Boxers. I got my mom an adult male boxer from the animal rescue shelter and he has been an awesome companion for her. He's very loving & protective and he seems to know he has to be gentle with her (she has arthritis) so he doesn't pull on the leash or jump around her.
Dogs are like people, each has its own personality.

I love all dogs, but right now we have a Pomeranian and a new Weimaraner puppy with the prettiest baby blue eyes ever!!! So cute. I have the best dogs in the world :)

I like almost all big dogs-danes, mastiffs, newfoundlands, wolfhounds, Rotts. Airdales are great, as are most hunting dogs--coon hounds, pointers. Just really don't care for those tiny noisy types.

golden retrievers, german shepards, newfoundlands, *siberian huskies, alaskan malamutes, chows, labs... I dont like the little toy dogs that you can't really do anything with except hold...I have an australian shepard/samoyed mix and everybody thinks he looks like an elkhound...but when I get old I plan to have at least some of those I listed above

I like 'em all - but am partial to rescued mutts..
my current dog is a kelpie cross from the pound
before that, a lab shepherd cross from SPCA
mutts are smart, less prone to health problems ingeneral and are always grateful that you've adopted them!

I have a chihuahua and a Golden retriever, but would also like an Australian Shepard and a Great pyranese someday! Some of my other favs are Pekinese, Pomeranians, and Newfies.

I have always loved Dalmations. Had one I was really attached to when I was young, but had to be put down. Havent had a dog since, cant have one now eaither cause hubby is alergic to them!! It sucks cause I really want one. But I reather have my hubby then the dog. LOL

If I had to pick a favorite type it would be hound dogs. I have a beagle/basset currently. He'll be two years old next month.
