aww. that's so sad. She needs to be seen by a doc. Maybe if you called a vet and explained your financial situation an arrangement may be worked out. good luck

Unfortunately this is a very very sick kitten. You are not doing the wrong thing with the amoxicillin though. I work at a vet clinic, and we use it in cats all the time. It's the same liquid form that is used for children. If the kitten has a virus, it won't do much, but it won't hurt him either.
Find a way to talk to a vet about the kitten. I agree that if you explain the situation you may be surprised at the help you will get.
Good luck.

Stop self-medicating the cat. You are not a vet and what you are doing is actually illegal. If you think she is dying, and you say you can't *lose* her, then your only option is to take her to a vet RIGHT AWAY!!! Don't let her sit there and suffer because you made the mistake of becoming her guardian without having the money to properly care for her.
I've linked to some recommendations of what you can do if you can't afford vet care. But please, put aside a savings account if the cat survives - in case of emergencies. Use this money to pay to get her fixed as soon as she can be. Or, place her with a no-kill shelter. It will be easier to adopt her out at this age rather than to have you wait until the next vet visit.
Honestly, if you can't afford a vet visit, you should not have taken the responsibility for this cat. Animals have emergencies and you need to be prepared for it. If you aren't, then you should be responsible enough not to have its life in your hands. How were you expecting to pay for spaying her? For her vaccinations? For routine health care? For other emergencies? If you lose her, please do not get any more animals until you can afford them. You aren't saving them - you are condeming them.

Its apparent the kitten has some health issues since it is currently on antibiotics, you never did mention the reason the kitten is on meds.
unfortunately it may be too late for the kitten I only say this because I have been in the same situation.
If she is being treated for an upper respiratory infection and has turned for the worse, I'm sorry to say there is very little you or the vet can do.
all you can do now is try to keep her comfortable and hope for the best.
Wishing you and your kitten all the best.

Take your cat to the vet. If you can't afford a vet, call your local SPCA or ASPCA (look in the telephone book for the one near where you live.)
They are usually located in major cities. Most ASPCA's and SPCA's have a vet clinic with 24 hour service. You can call directory assistance - 411 for the telephone number.
Good luck.

stop the amoxillin, give to her a few drops pedialyte to maintain her hydrated and go to any vet INMEDIATLY!!! Explain the situation, some vets can make a money arrangement, but the priority is to know what is going wrong with her. Good Luck

Try and keep the cat hydrated with water. No more antibiotics. Antibiotics might constipate the Kitten. Keep the air way open and just pray. 7 weeks old is very young and it can be several things wrong.

stop feeding her amoxycillin! it sounds like what my cat had, a virus. just keep her warm & give her lots of rest. You can call a vet and speak to them about it and they won't charge you for an over the phone consultation. Also, check her for ticks. She should get over it in a few days, but keep a close eye on her.
