Men generally aren't as good looking as women are, and beautiful women tend to have many "followers", so a guy might think he doesn't have a chance.

If She's cocky enough to refer to herself as a beautiful woman she probably has a bad attitude that goes with it and probably isn't even beautiful in the first place. If she truely beautiful men would be falling in love with her left and right. To summerize you are ugly (I assume)
