not yet. if one of the missiles killed our own or an allies citizens, then yes. soon they will make the mistake of causing damage to someone and then they will pay, with their lives, and they will soon loose the oppurtunity to call themselves N. Koreans anymore.

That is exactly what they want. The regime in North Korea have done this intentionally to up the ante and show a bit of muscle. All the world leaders can do is bark a few words of condemnation. The country already has a total trade embargo.

N Korea will shortly be able to target the United States. They are just proving this. They still wish to reclaim South Korea and unite the countries. The only reason why they don't is because of the US protection. If N Korea can threaten the US with a missile armed with a nuke (which they already have) that can reach US Soil, it will simply march into south Korea knowing the US will withdraw rather than face a nuclear strike on its own country.

The only logical conclusion to all this is that we must take military action against this foe before this situation arises.

There would be less loss of life in the long term.

Well, I don't know about "punished," but I definitely think it is a strike against them. It was stupid of them to openly fire missiles, and I personally see it as an invitation. Not necessarily an act of war because it did not hit us, but a) they were fired on our nation's Independence Day and b) within 6 minutes of the firing of the shuttle. I don't think that was coincidence. They seem to be very gutsy, and I don't like that...

Punished? North Korea is an autonomous nation.
Statements like yours are the reason that most of the rest of the world doesn't like the US.

I think they should. Did you hear it was only a six minute difference from the space shuttle takeoff? They deserve some kind of a very harsh punishment.

who are we to punish??? were not the only free country, ya know!!! as long as they dont fire those missles on us, there should be no problem!

Nooo..........
Why should they be punished...........
What your saying here is far from relevant........

I think its the Americans who should be punished, if not for Hiroshima or Nagasaki, it should be for war on Iraq n Afghanistan...........

if America wants Korea or any country whatsoever t0 surrender their nuclear warheads, they themselves should too..........

anyway their the only one who had previously use this weapon for cause of destruction.....................

hate to be irreverent in this sort of mater but everyone should voice out their thoughts.........

No...it's punishment enough that these ignorant people are North Koreans. What could we possibly do that would hurt them more?

i'VE HAD EXPERIENCE OF CHASING MISSILES!

No... I just think they are getting America's Attention!

Although... I think America can take on Saddam... they can take on the Taliban... But they know taking on N.Korea... would result in thousands or tens of thousands of service men lost!

Now that one would certainly be another Vietnam... No question!
