no cure, but here is what I do. I take an anti depresant and aleve every day, I also used to take sleeping pills to help me sleep. I also excercise daily and see a chiropractor. The most important thing to do is to find a doctor that understands fibromyalgia, and will help you find a treatment plan that works for you.

Pain medication is not a cure at all, just a crutch that can cause more harm then good in the long run.
I was helped a lot by massage- but had to take Rhus Tox for a long time, as massage can be very painful. Rhus Tox loosens up the muscles- or it did with me- and then the massage helps to move toxins out of the body.
I also got the mercury removed from my teeth. This cured the chronic fatigue problem- plus I'd had an excruciating headache for as long as I remember and it went away completely once all the mercury was gone. I was suicidal over the pain of the headache.
I still get a lot of aches and pains. Much of it is stress. I'm about to be homeless again.

There is no cure for fibromyalgia, but doctors can treat and control the symptoms. If you have fibromyalgia, you can help manage the symptoms by taking an active role in your treatment.
Treatment may be different for each person. It can include:
Getting regular exercise to help with muscle aches and stiffness.
Changing your routine, schedule, and surroundings to improve your sleep habits and reduce stress.
Taking medicine to help you sleep better and to relieve pain.
Getting counseling to help you to manage long-term (chronic) pain and find better ways to handle stress.
Some people with fibromyalgia also find complementary therapies helpful. These include acupuncture, massage, behavioral therapy, and relaxation techniques.

Some people do very well with physical therapy and/or massage therapy. There are a ton of drugs, many of them are not pain killers at all, that can be used. I suggest you see a neurologist. The brain is at the center of the nervous system and is what interprets pain. Ask your physician for a referral and if he will not give you one, drop him immediately and get a new doctor!
