As long as your doctor is following the guidelines for prescribing anti-TNF blockers in adults, it is safe....
...However, Non steroidal anti-inflammatory meds help 80% of the patients that have this condition...I would try that first.

I think you asked a similar question... I will answer again because I know that disease causes a lot of suffering. My friend is very happy with the shots but he was warned he may have problems especially related to his immune system. He has pretty frequent blood testing but so far things are going great and he is very happy. Good luck. That is a tough disease. Does it run in your family? Did you have the genetic test B27?
