A New Discovery
The advantage of engaging in exercise during pregnancy is actually a pretty new discovery. It wasn’t long ago when pregnant women were forced to remain off their feet, unable to do much of anything for nine months. Your may remember stories about your mother, aunts, or grandmothers having to give up work, sports, and other activities during their pregnancies. Luckily, researchers have now discovered that exercise is actually much better for pregnant women than sitting around all day is (although many pregnant women may disagree).
If you really want to go with your family why not? But be aware of the rides that would make you uncomfortable, make sure you have someone to look after your one child. Disney Employees are trained to look after the safety of the guests. Besides there are lots to see and do in Disney. your condition does not be a problem going there unless you choose to endanger yourself.
I don't think not walking if you are pregnant would hurt you, it is now recommendable for pregnant women to have a light exercise, walking is included, just don't walk too long and avoid the peak season.
Mostly before the entrance of any rides, this would come into your attention..
Must be at least 52" tall. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.
good day!

My best friend and I went when we where both 7 1/2 month pregnant with our spouses and kids - ages 7, 4 and 18 months. Everyone had a blast. We went on the whimpy rides and were able to kick back and relax and drink water while the boys took the kids on the more adventurous rides. Then again, she and I had healthy pregnancies and didn't let them slow us down. The babies were both born on time and are perfectly healthy.
Rides you can go on (as well as the 16 month old)-
Small World and almost anything in Fantasyland
Winnie the Pooh
Haunted Mansion
Pirates of the Caribbean
Jungle Cruise
Buzz Lightyear
all the shows and parades

There are only 7 rides out of 50 that are restricted to pregnant women at the park. I would definitely go, I love Disneyland. But also don't have too high of expectations about how much your 16 month old is going to love the place, he may but he may not. At least you two can nap together while everyone else keeps going. Christmas time in the park is best the first two weeks of December, after that it is very crowded, but if it's not your first trip you'll still enjoy it, great decorations and parades.

Of course! California Adventure has some excellent shows. Definitely go see the Alladin show - it's amazing! You can still ride on everything in Fantasyland and most other rides. In fact, you may enjoy your trip more because you won't be standing in those long lines. While everyone else is waiting in lines, you can take your little guy and sit back and relax... people watching is fun to do at Disney! Or browse through a shop nearby and plan on a meeting location when they get off the ride.

Don't go during Christmas. Its the worst time of year to go. my family went and we ended up only going on 2-3 rides b/c the lines were really long. We couldn't barely move around. I'm not not kidding or exatrating. We ended up complaining about and we got free tickets to come back a next time.

As long as someone else can take them on some of the rides, why not.
Yes to rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Small World; no to rides like Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Matterhorn (gee, there's a theme here), Teacups, Flying Dumbos, ...
But you'll be spending about $59 per ticket. There are some really rabid Disney fans on their own message sites that can probably give you some advice. (The boy who died just recently had an undiagnosed heart defect that caused his death)

NO. You'll be miserable walking all day. You won't be able to ride anything. Your 16 month old baby won't be albe to ride very much either. If you just want to walk around a busy park all day very pregnant and with a young child to merely sightsee then by all means this is the perfect way to accomplish that.

There are a team of exciting rides you could savour and in basic terms some that are no longer advised. look for the toddler center a the top of important highway. that's a lifesaver in case you have a sprint one and characteristic a some distance hotel room. you additionally can circulate in and relax your self in a effective mushy chair extremely than a park bench. in basic terms a tip in case you circulate to California experience too: you're allowed to journey the toy tale journey, yet I extremely have ridden it on a similar time as pregnant it kinda injury my abdomen a sprint. The lap bars are different than time-honored lap bars. reliable luck and characteristic an incredible time:)

No, for 1 reason, walking has been known as a stimulant to induce labor. At 6 months I would NOT go any where that I would have to walk as much as Disney World.

I think your child(ren) will have fun, and you should try to as well, just be carefull. You might want to ask ride conductors which rides are safe or not.
