My father, which is in heaven, hath shed all his love upon us. For this, let us be infinitly grateful, Amen.

My honest feelings and beliefs need to be pushed aside to get to what God is all about -- God is Unconditional Love which is something that can't be put into words but has to be directly experienced. What we get, however, is a bunch of opinions, interpretations, beliefs, concepts, etc. that are projected onto god and made into reality.

When I consider God I'm often confused...though I read His Word and come away satisfied..it seems if I'm not in it, I've looked in the mirror and then forgetten my own features so that I have to return to be reminded. The Bible is that way...when I look around at the world and all the muck and mire we produce for ourselves...smudging over creation so that God is hard to see...His handy work and blessed care and detail..I get confused and I wonder where He is...all these constant distractions. So I go back to the Word of God, I look up at the sky, feel the breeze and watch the trees sway as birds swoop through my back yard. I see the little creatures creep, crawl and buzz by. I watch in amazement as the clouds drift lazy over the mountain tops. My heart breaks at the sweetness of my childs face as he looks up at me with eyes so bright, smile so wide..so perfect and beautiful and though I am confused when I consider God..with my limited reasoning and foolish inclination toward doubt and sorrow, I know that He is there and He is not confused about me but knows my every detail to the number of hairs on my head...Who can worry, regret or feel insignificant under the wing of His care?
Like Job...."though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." (Job 13:15) Love in Christ, ~J~ <><

I was brought up in a house where god wasn't particullarly important. Only occasions it was really mentioned was at Christmas/easter.

However, I've always found myself prediposed to believe in something. Some sort of omnipotent god. I can't help it, its almost as if I can feel it. I suppose that will be how religion came about in the first place.

Then again, I find myself talking to trees, books, and the rain, almost everything, as if they were people and my words could influence what they did, so you can make your own assumptions about me.

I still think most of the bible is bollocks though.

God is from eternity
He is without a beginning or end
He is man's one and only source
He is the source of all life
He is eternal life
He is spirit, true, one, holy, love, light, eternal

Jesus is the son of God
The savior of the world, he is the way, the truth, and the life
He was born with out sin
He was crucified, died, and was buried
He arose from the dead and ascended into heaven
He sits on the right hand of God the father as our advocate, priest, and king
He is coming again to judge the quick and the dead
He is divine, and worthy

I love Him.

I try not to have beliefs cause beiefs are limiting. They give you a narrow scope of the world you should stay away from them. It seems obvious to me(not so obvious to others) that we had to have came from somewhere. There was a big bang sure ok but why? How did it begin and for what purpose? Answer that and you'll find out who,,, or should I say WHAT God IS

I think God is very real and he plays an important part of yours, mine and evrybody's life. He loves us all very much. At the same time he knows that not everyone feels the same way about him. We as people have free will, the ability to do what we want. You ask why, I cannot imagein life without God. Just look around you. Life, nature, people are full of reasons why.

I'm an agnostic. I dunno of God exists or not. But I wonder if there is a God why doesn't he allow so many people and animals to suffer. I sometimes wonder if there is a God if he is all powerful or maybe there are some things he can't do. I feel like if there is a God he's not gonna help me though my difficult time. Although I'm an agnostic, I do pray sometimes sometimes even though I'm not sure if God exists or not.

God is a confusing topic. There is little to no evidence to show that he exists(only faith), and some evidence that contradicts Catholic God, But I believe that there is a spirit, who the modern world has come to call god, that is good and watches over us. And that spirit is there for us, to talk to, to listen to. I believe that god doesn't take as much action in our lives as some believe he does. Perhaps there is fate and destiny that has been set aside and chosen for us, but I like to believe that the spirit, god, is more likely to be a guidance, or a conscience for us to listen to. and not really having a direct set of Rules and Regulation that if we do not listen to, will be sent to hell. So listen to your heart. Thats where you'll find god.

Let's assume, for the sake of discussion, the truth of two very basic teachings of Christianity:

1. God is good and is a force for good and enemy of evil in the world
2. God is all-powerful

I have to conclude that one of the most charitable evaluations of this situation is that God is certainly an underachiever.

I believe that god is with me every second of everyday. I believe that he helps me through all my trials and tribulations. The only reason I can give you for why? Is the feeling I have in my heart and soul.
