So, I met a guy on line, we had been chatting for almost a month. We had called each other several times and we really seemed to get along. We decided that we wanted to meet. So we set up a meeting in a very public place, went for a walk and just talked. I thought it went really well and we talked about meeting again today to go see the fireworks.
When I got home yesterday I wanted to e-mail him right away, but I didn't I waited for a bit, e-mailed him and asked him about today adn the fireworks. I e-mailed him about 24 hours ago (give or take) and so far nothing. He and I had been talking every night and as far as I know, he didn't sign on at all last night nor has he today, or called or responded to my e-mail.
What should I do? I really am not too sure so any advice would be great. Thank you for your time,

Often times, the early moments of a relationship seems to slow down time. Minutes seem like hours and hours seem like days. This is especially true when you're waiting for the other person to call or respond to an E-mail.

My advice: Take a deep breath, and let things happen as they should. Make alternate plans just in case, and follow through with the alternate plans if plan A plan doesn't work out. That way, you won't feel as disappointed as if you sat there waiting for the guy to call you back.

Don't give up on the guy. Something might have come up that caused him not to be able to get a hold of you. If he's interested, he wil call and there will be other opportunities for a date.

Good luck to you...

Unless he's had something very important come up since you met in person and hasn't been able to be online to talk or send you mail and let you know about it then I'd say he's 'cut and run' after meeting you in person for one reason or another.

Give him some time. Something might have happened like an emergency and he hasn't gotten a chance to tell you yet. If he keeps ignoring you, maybe he isn't interested in you anymore and doesn't have the decency to tell you.

Get over it and move on cause the minute you do he'll come running. If not you'll have by that time met other people. Guy's are weird they like it when you hardly notice them. So relax you'll find somebody.

Try calling him. He may be busy or something. You never know.
