Heres the story. Last night my mom told me i couldnt talk tex or see my boyfriend no more because she thinks that he is not good enough for me and that she thinks that he is just trying to take advantage of me cuz im still young or at least younger than him. Im 18 and hes 22. So i called him last night and explained to him what had happened, that my mom didnt let me see him no more and well that i also couldnt call him and if he called me than not to answer and if he tex me than not to tex back. And my mom told me that if he really loves me that he will try to prove her wrong and try and get me back.
Ok so then today he text me saying that he is gonna try hard to prove my mom wrong and to get me back because he is not gonna lose me, that he will not permit that. He also tells me to wait for him to prove my mom wrong, and he tells me that he is sorry. He also says that he feels terrible and to forgive him.
So my question is; What should i do or think of him? Cuz im willing to wait

If you were 14 or 15, I would say that your Mom's right. Being 18, you need to make those choices on your own.
No matter how right you are, it is not good to piss off Mom. I would recommend to try and have a civil discussion about the situaiton, and tell your Mom to let you be an adult and handle this as an adult.

it depends on what he did. u never mentioned what he did. and also ur 18 i thought u were a minor, ur mom don't have control over ur life now that ur old enough to make decisions with out her. i'm not saying to not listen to ur mother or dishonor her, but there are somethings that parents should or should not tell u. but it all go back to what i said earlier, what did he do? in most cases, ur parents would know what's best for u and if he's tryna prove ur mom wrong well, he can't try too hard because whatever she has made up in her mind may be hard for him to change.

you are old enough to make your own decision.....never let anyone come between u and your boyfriend....and if your boyfriend is a bad person tell him to change a little bit so your mom won't complain ...your mom needs to let u make your own decision on who u want to be with she can't control u forever...my parents do the same thing to me and I'm 21 i finally told my dad that i am old enough to make my decisions whether he likes it or not not in a disrespectful way but in a way to where he knew that i am growing up.......good luck with your situation

u r 18 and u can make tht decisions not ur mother. u should waut for him bcuz ur mom said if he really loved u he would prove her wrong and now he is tryimg so hard to do tht.

Im 14 and may have a crappy answer but heres what I think that may help you in the situation...Call a cab pack your stuff and move some were nerby his place are move in with him.Your 18 idk how much mony you have but if hes worth it leave your moms..
