To spread Islam with the use of reason and debate and Insha allah I wish to die fighting for Islam either in charity work or just taking care of those who are close to me, only Allah has control over where and how we die, thank you for enquiring so kindly.

I can't strictly answer that, and this truly isn't the right category for the Q, but I suspect millions have a Martyr complex, and not always selfish in nature.
"Assignment" is also an inappropriate word in this context, since it isn't the TV show, Mission impossible,,, as most martyrdom is spontaneous, and though often driven by ego, or selfishness, is usually created out of a desire to make things right.
Will "IT" kill us? It very likely could, depending on the foolish or impulsive nature of our thoughts and actions, in the belief that "one" can confront "masses" and secure the design/resolutions, in the original wish.
