The origins of the word "antisemite:"
Known as the father of modern antisemitism, Wilhelm Marr led the fight to overturn Jewish emancipation in Germany. Born in 1819, Marr entered politics as a democratic revolutionary who favored the emancipation of all oppressed groups, including Jews. However, when he became embittered about the failure of the 1848-49 German Revolution to democratize Germany, and about his own rapidly declining political fortunes, he turned his venom against the Jews. His essay "Der Sieg des Judenthums über das Germanenthum von nicht confessionellen Standpunkt" ("The Victory of Judaism over Germandom: From a Non-Denominational Point of View") reached its 12th edition in 1879.

Marr's conception of antisemitism focused on the supposed racial, as opposed to religious, characteristics of the Jews. His organization, the League of Antisemites, introduced the word "antisemite" into the political lexicon and established the first popular political movement based entirely on anti-Jewish beliefs.

Technically, he was incorrect, because Semites also encompass Arabs. So, an actuality, antisemitism is the hatred of all semites, including Arabs.

So, hatred of one Jewish person, even if it is Jesus, would not constitute anti-semitism, unless he was hated only for being Jewish.

No, Jesus was a Jew, yes, but Christians aren't Jews, they usually aren't descended from Jews and they are these days a completely different religion to Judaism.

Although I don't see why it matters; if your against Christianity, your most likely going to be against Judaism for the same reasons, which is anti-Semitic by definition. Nothing wrong with that though.

We are so far from the time of Jesus that it seems like a different planet. No it's not anti-semitism. Although Jesus was of the Jewish religion His followers decided that this was something different. So no, would be the answer. Question is a little dumb.

then if a Jew was against Christianity he would be an anti Semite. This is absurd, so the answer must be no, ju no.
