Etc. are demonstrating on this site as well as in everyday living!.......and yes, I do believe that there is potential in these people to actually "KILL"......I've had these concerns for a long time!..........ps if you monitor this religious/spiritual site you will actually see the Spreading Of Hate, Condemnation, Harrassment, Mockery, Disrespect, And Insults That Comes Through This Religious/Spiritual Site!......These People are Really (Bonified) CRULE!........

Let me preface by saying I am not a Christian but nor am I am Christian hater. I am not an atheist either. I think your husband might be just a tad bit paranoid about the people that you meet here on yahoo answers. The internet has provided a means in which anyone can almost annonymously talk about whatever is truly on their mind. The most extreme sides of society seems to be amplified because of this. People can litereally come on here and be as mean and as nasty as they want to without truly feeling connected to the text on the screen. Some of the people that do this are just as ormal as you, people that you can meet in a library or at the supermarket. I think most people who are seriously thinking about murder and such have prooven to be alot more subdued publically than that. There are of course exceptions but not as many as you'd think. People like to shock other people. and to be fair there is just as much hate coming from the christian side of the argument as there is coming from the atheist side. Truly though don't believe everything ya read from people they're pretty much just trying to get a rise out of you
Ok now that I've written this I need to put a few more babies on spikes my collection is gettin pretty good

I think about it often but don't worry so much because I don't give out any personal info. Some people have serious problems. Some really need more help than anyone on this site can give them. I make sure no one knows even what denomination I am. I don't ever give out my email address. I think that while some of the people on here have serious problems most of them are kids just trying to agitate some of us. I have thought very seriously about not coming on the site anymore but then there is one question that I believe to be someone really searching for an answer. I hope I can help someone find what they are looking for.

Many different people from many different beliefs have said strongly worded answers - even christians. So does that make the christians who answer with hate also potential serial killers and rapists?
Certain subjects have a tendency to get heated in debate - religion is certainly at the top of the heap. Do you really think it is fair to generalize like your question has?

I think you need to consider what God would have you do and then do it. There is always the potential for harm, but I'm not going to spend even a moment worrying about it. That being said, your husband is your spiritual head and you need to consider his counsel.
Don't waste any time conversing with the obvious hate mongers and trash talkers; ignore them as best you can. They are only trying to confuse the weak minded and diffuse the truth that is being spread here. Speak the truth and let the Holy Spirit awaken in those He has chosen to be enlightened.
When trash talkers and hate mongers attempt to bait me, I just ignore them or "walk away", but I do not leave the truth unstated to others who may be near.
For all those filled with hate, there are a few quietly listening in and not making their presence known. Speak to them and ignore the rest.
The Truth always comes to the surface.
This is an incredible forum for getting the truth out BECAUSE they can't shout you down! Your opinions are heard by those who need to hear them.

WOW!!!!!
Are you closed minded or what?!?!?!
BTW, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold grew up in christian homes!
Just because you see violence on TV or read about it on the Internet, doesn't mean its going to make you into a violent person. Maybe you should try to understand where people are coming from before you jump to the conclusion that they are serial killers!!! I mean, seriously!!

You're engaging in the same dynamic that the Christian bashers engage in, only you're trying to be more delusive and subtle in your attack. The best thing would be to stop the projections and look at what attitudes serve to induce hatred. When we see fundamentalist Muslims blowing up kids on a bus in the name of religion, it's easy to see why negative attitudes toward islam exist. Why don't we see it when abortion doctors are murdered or taliban-like theocratic agendas are promoted with measures to endorse christian practices in society? If we looked at those things and realized there's culpability, perhaps the new-found openness would make us realize Christ's real message of Love and open Christians beyond the standard, rigid attachment to the negative rigidity that is the hallmark of most religions.

I think there are lat least 15 Atheist people who answered your question has committed a hate crime. I see 3 rapist, 5 pedophile, 5 Wife beaters and 2 murderers. One of the creeps who answered raped and killed a child. I have what you call a God given 6th sence and I have helped the police profile suspects of hate crimes. This site is full of bad news.

Go away you imbecile.
Most affluent places with intelligent people living in them (UK as an example) do not need the influence of religion on them.
I am an atheist with no anger or hatred. I have a lovely life, good job, lovely family and have no need for something spiritual to cling to. You're only religious because you were brought up that way - think about it!!!!!!

it makes me sad to think of all the people who hate us. I don't understand that feeling, and pray for anyone who has it. I watched a news clip about battlecry, and how they set up a rally in San Fransico. An organization came and shouted horrible words at them, but the Christians did nothing back. It just doesn't make sense! These people are letting the devil use them, and it is definitly a concern.
