My hair seem to have a "natural direction", a direction in which it looks better if combed that way. Is there anyway, such as by regural brushing in another direction, that I can change the direction?

Absolutely it's possible to retrain your hair. It takes a long time and doesn't look all that good while you're doing it, but what you do is intentionally part your hair in the direction you want it to go. You have to do that every morning and every night, and it takes a few months, but it is effective and usually permanent, unless your hair is just too short, in which case you just have to let it grow whichever direction it wants to.

Yes you can however its not permenant. You can use a gentle relaxer and comb the hair into the direction you want your hair to lay as the relaxer processes. However you will have to do this every couple months on the regrowth. By doing this your hair will naturally fall in your desired growth pattern. You want to use the most gentlest relaxer you can find that has no Lye in it-
Eventually the hair will start to go in the direction of the relaxed hair-

no. Hair grows following gravity, so it will always grow longer and down. However you can change the style of your hair so that it looks like it is growing in a different direction. Get advice from a hairdresser

actually yes youd have to brush it in the direction you want
and then youd have to wear a durag or bandana to hold it down youll have to do this for a long time before it starts to grow that way itll follow the direction its brushed in if you constantly groom it that way
